Almost nothing to collect.

KainFit does not collect your food data, because it never receives it. There is no account to create and no server storing what you eat. Everything you log lives in your own browser, on your own device. The one thing KainFit can collect is an email address, and only if you type it into the launch form yourself.
What stays on your device
Your meals, your daily totals, your targets, your height and weight, and any food you add yourself. All of it is written to your browser's local storage and nowhere else. Clearing your browser data deletes it permanently, and there is no backup anyone can restore, because no copy was ever made.
The email list
The site offers to send you a free plan: your calorie and protein targets, a macro tracking guide, a seven day Filipino meal guide and a grocery list. If you give your address you also join the KainFit newsletter, which carries fitness and food tips and may in future mention paid coaching from John. Every one of those carries an unsubscribe link, and using it removes you for good.
Both are optional, you choose whether to give your address, and that form is the only one on KainFit. The list belongs to KainFit. It is not sold, rented or shared, and it says nothing about what you eat, because your food log is never attached to it.
Two numbers go with it. When you work out your targets on the site, the calorie and protein figures are sent along with your address, so the plan you get back is yours rather than a generic one. Your age, sex, height and weight are not sent. The sum runs on your own device and only its answer leaves.
Where it is kept. Addresses are received and stored by Netlify, the company that hosts this site. Netlify is a United States company, so an address you give us is stored outside the Philippines.
How long it is kept. Until you ask to come off it, at which point your address is removed straight away. To be removed at any time, message @thekainfitguy.
What leaves your device
Requests for the page itself, which is the same as any website you open. The hosting provider records standard web server logs, including IP address, browser type and which page was requested, and uses them to serve the site and to spot abuse. The contents of your food log are not in those logs, because your food log is never sent. Fonts are part of the site's own files, so opening KainFit tells no other company you were here.
Children and teens
KainFit is designed for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and no personal information is knowingly collected from anyone under 13. Anyone under 18 should ask a parent or guardian before joining the email list or before using KainFit to set a calorie goal.
Parents are welcome to use KainFit to understand what meals actually contain and to support healthier choices at home. Worth saying plainly all the same: food tracking is not appropriate for every young person, and it is best introduced with guidance.
Your rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) you have the right to be informed about how your data is handled, to access it, to correct it, to have it erased or blocked, to object to how it is used, to obtain a copy of it, and to be compensated for damage caused by its misuse.
Your food data is already in your hands, because it never left them. It sits on your device, you can read it in the app, edit any entry, export all of it as a file, and delete everything from the profile screen. No request to anyone is needed. For the launch email list, one message to @thekainfitguy removes your address.
If you believe your personal data has been mishandled, you may also complain to the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines at privacy.gov.ph.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your information is handled, the date at the top of this page changes with it. A change that introduced any new form of data collection would be announced in the app itself before it took effect.

KainFit is run from the Philippines by the coach behind @thekainfitguy, who decides how any personal data collected here is handled. Questions about privacy, requests to see or delete an address, and anything else covered by this page can be sent to that account.
